To know more about basketball history we would need to go back in time to the year 1891 which is when a Canadian physical instructor, Dr. James Naismith thought of this game to keep his students fit and occupied. Today this game has come far from that room and has found itself a really important place in the sports scenario.   • Muggsy Bouges at 5 feet 3 inches is the shortest basketball player in the National Basketball Association.
